Trisha Goddard's talk show in line for ITV return?

ITV is reportedly considering bringing back Trisha Goddard's talk show more than 16 years after it last aired.

Trisha Goddard is reportedly in line to return to ITV with her talk show more than 16 years after it ended.

Trisha was a firm fixture of the broadcaster's morning schedule between 1998 and 2004, when she moved to Channel 5 and The Jeremy Kyle Show took over the slot.

Kyle's series was axed a year ago after the death of one of the show's participants and according to The Sun, ITV is looking at bringing back Goddard and has given the go-ahead to the filming of a pilot.

"It's being referred to as Talk To Trisha at the moment," a source told the newspaper.

"But telly fans will recognise it for what it is - the old legendary show and her back together."

Following the axe of Jeremy Kyle, ITV rejigged its schedule to expand flagship shows Good Morning Britain and This Morning, suggesting that the new Goddard show could air in the afternoons or timeshare with Loose Women.
