Spider-Man producer confirms new trilogy of movies
Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal reveals plans for three more movies and confirms the return of Tom Holland in the role.

Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal has confirmed that plans are underway for a new trilogy of films with Tom Holland in the lead role.

Next month's Spider-Man: No Way Home, which promises to introduce the multiverse to the MCU in a significant manner, was Holland's last movie under contract as Peter Parker.

Speaking to Fandango, however, Pascal revealed that not only will Holland continue in the role but also three more films are in her sights.

"This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie," she said.

"We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn't part of... we're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three.

"This is not the last of our MCU movies."

Spider-Man: No Way Home is due for release on December 17.
