Phillip Schofield has dismissed rumours linking him with an appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The TV presenter lost his job at ITV last year after admitting to lying to his bosses about having had an affair with a younger male colleague working on This Morning.
Since then he has kept a low profile but has returned to TV this week with a new three-part Channel 5 documentary, Cast Away, which he filmed himself while spending 10 days alone on a remote island.
Following the fallout of his affair the 62-year-old has been linked with multiple reality shows, including I'm A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother, but during his time on the island he told the camera that he would never work with ITV again.
"I'm apparently 4/1 to do the other jungle programme," he said. "Although my best mates (Ant and Dec) host it, there are some channels you just won't work for. There are just some people you won't work for."
In another chat to camera, he admitted: "I miss parts of being on TV, certainly. I miss most of it, if I'm honest, I miss most of it.
"But there are bits that I really, really, really don't miss. You learn a lot about people, I don't miss that."
Philip Schofield Cast Away continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
