ITV confirms reports that I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will once again be filmed in Wales this year.

ITV has confirmed speculation that this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will take place in Wales.

Due to coronavirus the show relocated from Australia to Gwrych Castle in Wales last year, with ITV hoping that the move would be for one series only.

However, with COVID restrictions still in place down under, the broadcaster has now taken the decision to return to Gwrych this November.

Katie Rawcliffe, head of entertainment commissioning at ITV, said: "We can confirm today that we'll be returning to Wales for the 2021 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

"We've always said we have contingencies in place for the series if the COVID situation continued to bring uncertainty, and after a highly successful run at the castle last year we're pleased that we can return there.

"I have no doubt the production team will produce another hugely entertaining series."

Last year's series, which was won by author Giovanna Fletcher, averaged 11.46m viewers, making it the second most popular series in the history of the show.
