I'm A Celebrity 2020 winner revealed

The winner is revealed on the Wales-set edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Giovanna Fletcher has been crowned the first ever 'Queen of the Castle' on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 35-year-old author and podcaster - wife of McFly's Tom Fletcher - had been the last woman standing in camp after the first five people to be evicted this year were all female.

Due to coronavirus this year's series was filmed at Gwrych Castle in North Wales rather than the Australian jungle - home to the show for its previous 19 series.

Radio 1 DJ Jordan North finished as the runner-up, while TV presenter Vernon Kay - husband of Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly - came in third place after more than 12 million votes were cast in the final.

Visibly shaken as the result was announced, Giovanna said: "I can't believe it, people have literally picked up their phones and voted. It's been the most amazing experience. I can't believe it... ask me in a week how I'm feeling!"

Other celebrities taking part in this year's series included Sir Mo Farah, ex-EastEnders stars Shane Richie and Jessica Plummer, West End star Ruthie Henshall, Paralympian Hollie Arnold, dancer AJ Pritchard, opera singer Russell Watson, journalist Victoria Derbyshire and Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard.
