Gwrych Castle's resident cat Lloyd tipped to feature in I'm A Celebrity

Gwrych Castle's resident cat Lloyd is expected to feature in the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Gwrych Castle's resident cat Lloyd has left a message for Ant and Dec ahead of the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The Welsh estate will host the long-running ITV series this November after the coronavirus pandemic made travelling to the Australian jungle impractical.

Castle cat Lloyd is popular with tourists and according to The Mirror, he is now set to get nationwide exposure by appearing as part of the show.

In a video posted to Gwrych Castle's Instagram account, Lloyd says through a voiceover: "Hello, Lloyd here, Gwrych Castle number one representative.

"Well I've been told we are going to have some guests coming soon, the Ant and the Dec apparently, and I need to adjust my accent to make them feel comfortable."

Switching to a Geordie accent, the cat added: "Well hello there boys, my name is Lloyd and I'm a cat and I'm in charge of this here pile of castle, so watch yourselves."
