Warren Fox will return to Hollyoaks this week for a special flashback episode harking back to the soap's lost year.

The character - played by Jamie Lomas - was last seen fleeing the village in September 2024 having escaped from prison, before the whole soap jumped forward in time one year.

In the episode, Warren is seen visiting Hollyoaks and is confronted by his confused son Joel (Rory Douglas-Speed), who has mistaken him for his dealer during a drugs relapse brought on by the death of stillborn son Noah.

The special episode also delves deeper into Joel's return to drugs and reveals more about Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) discovering that she has bowel cancer.

"There's a lot the fans don't know about the missing year and I'm excited to be a part of the special episode," said Lomas ahead of the episode streaming on Channel 4 tomorrow. "I always love coming back home to Hollyoaks."
