Piers Morgan 'agrees to appear on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?'

Piers Morgan reportedly agrees to take part in a celebrity edition of Jeremy Clarkson's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has reportedly agreed to appear on an upcoming celebrity edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

The long-running quiz show has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity over the last couple of years with Jeremy Clarkson as host, and the most recent series featured the first person in 14 years to take home the top prize.

Morgan and Clarkson are old frenemies, having recently settled a long-running feud, and according to The Sun, the GMB presenter has now agreed to face him for a charity edition of Millionaire?

The newspaper also claims that Morgan's phone-a-friend options include co-host Susanna Reid and good friend Dame Joan Collins.

"Morgan and Clarkson squaring off on primetime will be telly platinum," an ITV source said. "Piers relying on Jeremy for an answer with Ask The Host will be hilarious viewing.

"Piers has asked Susanna, a history buff, and Joan Collins, who has a wealth of general knowledge, to be Phone A Friends."

Morgan and Clarkson's feud is thought to have started in 2003 when the former Top Gear host was accused of throwing wine over Morgan on Concorde's last ever flight.
