Dancing On Ice judge Christopher Dean has revealed that the panel will be offering up "golden tickets" in the first two weeks of the new series.
The show launches on Sunday night with the first six celebrities taking to the ice, with one being sent home before the show is up.
However, Dean has confirmed that a new twist will see the judging panel giving one dancing couple a free pass through to the next round, meaning that they will not be required to face the public vote on the night.
"There is a golden ticket situation for the first two episodes," he said on This Morning.
"The judges are going to give one celebrity the opportunity to be out of the public vote based on their performance that night.
"So there is everything to skate for to not be in that public vote for the first week."
Dancing On Ice starts Sunday night at 6pm on ITV.
