Coronation Street star Paddy Bever has hinted that his character Max Turner will be facing fresh trauma ahead.
Over recent months the youngster - adoptive son of David (Jack P Shepherd) - has found himself at a new school, where he has become the victim of bullies.
Recently David made a failed attempt to get Max back into his former school Weatherfield High, and now Bever has suggested that Max is in for more tough times at the hands of his tormentors.
"There is a lot of potential danger. Max is currently sitting right in the middle of it in the eye of the storm," he told The Sun.
"And he's about to enter more of the storm, in some ways willingly and in others unwillingly."
He added: "I can tease that it won't be a very calm and peaceful Christmas."
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
