After a year's break, The British Soap Awards returned this weekend, with Jane McDonald overseeing proceedings at London's Hackney Empire.
EastEnders had an extremely good night, picking up wins in eight of the 12 category awards, with Hollyoaks claiming three and Coronation Street taking just one - a special achievement gong for David Neilson.
The awards will air in full on ITV1 this Thursday night from 8pm.
