Ken intervenes and stops Deirdre from leaving the country, while Alma is horrified at what Mike had planned.

Spider catches Log in the act of eating meat and throws her out, while Des apologises to Samantha for suspecting she was having an affair with Chris.

Des smashes down the door and finds Samantha in bed with Chris. In court, Jon paints Deirdre out as the mastermind behind the fraud.

Deirdre takes to the stand and defends herself fiercely, shouting at Jon when he laughs at her testimony. Jon's barrister then paints her out to be a manipulative maneater, before Emily takes her turn and sticks up for her friend.

Deirdre is horrified to be found guilty and sentenced to 18 months in prison. Chris leaves the street without Samantha.
