ITV is to broadcast a new weekly NFL highlights show, the Super Bowl and two of the London Games for the next three years.

ITV has agreed a deal with the NFL that will see it broadcast highlights and live coverage of select games for the next three seasons.

Under the agreement, Laura Woods, Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell will host a new weekly preview programme, which will air Friday nights at 11.30pm on ITV starting on September 9.

ITV will also broadcast the Super Bowl live, as well as two of the London Games - Giants @ Packers on October 9 and Broncos @ Jaguars on October 30.

Woods, who is leaving Sky Sports to take up the new role, said: "I've been a fan of the NFL for many years, so, with the new season just weeks away, I'm thrilled to be part of the team that will bring ITV viewers its best action and biggest stories each week."

Channel 5 will continue to broadcast Monday Night Football throughout the season, while Sky will remain the home for the majority of live games through its dedicated Sky Sports NFL channel.
