The BBC publishes the annual salaries for its top on-air talent, with Gary Lineker once again topping the list.

The BBC has published the salaries for its top on-air talent as part of its latest annual report, with Match of the Day's Gary Lineker once again topping the list.

The former footballer pockets around £1.35 million a year for his work on the long-running show, in addition to his duties hosting the Sports Personality of the Year awards.

The salary ranges published only reflect the stars' wages from the BBC directly - wages from BBC Studios, other broadcasters and ventures are not included, while the likes of Graham Norton does not feature on the list as he is technically paid by his production company which makes his chat show.

The highest earner from BBC radio is Zoe Ball, who takes home almost £1m a year for her work hosting the Radio 2 breakfast show.
