Channel 4 schedules a full repeat of the 1966 World Cup final in colour for broadcast on Saturday afternoon, a day before England take on Italy in the final of Euro 2020.

Channel 4 has rearranged its schedule to include a full rebroadcast of England's triumph in the 1966 World Cup final on Saturday afternoon.

The move comes after the Three Lions qualified for their first major tournament final since '66 to book a place in the final of Euro 2020 against Italy on Sunday night.

Channel 4's rebroadcast of the famous win from '66 will begin at 5.40pm on Saturday, complete with ITV's original commentary and analysis from the time.

The game will also be shown in colour after the original black and white footage was painstakingly restored through modern colourisation techniques.

Elsewhere, ITV has also hastily shaken up its schedule to include a cheeky screening of classic heist movie The Italian Job in the build-up to the Euros final.
