Australian island to live stream penguin parade for UK audience

An Australian nature park announces a four-week live stream of a parade of penguins aimed at a UK audience.

Australia's Phillip Island Nature Park has set up a dedicated live stream for UK audiences to follow the parade of its penguin population.

The island is home to around 32,000 Little Penguins, who make a nightly waddle from the floodlit beach to their homes.

Starting on February 15, Penguin TV - available on the nature park's website and YouTube - will live stream the parade every day from 9.45am UK time for four weeks.

The park says that the live venture is "dedicated to our friends in the UK" and plans to have special guests, including Ray Mears, to serve as live commentators of the parade every day.

Previous penguin parades at the park have notched up more than 25 million views online.
