5 has signed a sublicensing deal with DAZN to broadcast games from this summer's revamped FIFA Club World Cup.
The new competition features 32 teams from around the globe, who will compete in a group stage ahead of a traditional knockout format.
DAZN has the exclusive worldwide rights to the tournament and will broadcast it for free in every territory but is also sublicensing to local broadcasters to attract higher audiences.
For 5, the broadcaster has inked a deal for 23 of the 63 games, comprising 15 group-stage matches, four round-of-16 matches, two quarter-finals, one of the semi-finals and the final.
Domestic interest in the competition comes from Chelsea and Manchester City, while other teams taking part include Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and David Beckham's Inter Miami.
"We're delighted to be able to have agreed this fantastic partnership with Dazn to expand free-to-air coverage of the Fifa Club World Cup, live on 5," said Lee Sears, president of international ad sales at 5 owner Paramount.
"It's going to be one of the sporting events of the summer with most of the matches played in the evening peak time and 32 of the world's biggest clubs involved."
This year's competition is being staged in the US and will run from June 14 to July 13.
