Danny Jones's wife Georgia Horsley reportedly rejects a "huge" offer to appear on Celebrity Big Brother in the wake of his alleged incident with Maura Higgins.

Georgia Horsley, the wife of McFly star Danny Jones, has reportedly rejected a "huge" offer to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.

Jones has hit the headlines over the last week after he was pictured seemingly kissing Maura Higgins, his co-star on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, at a Brit Awards afterparty earlier this month.

The couple met in 2009 and have been married for 10 years, sharing one child, six-year-old Cooper.

According to The Mirror, Horsley's representatives met with ITV about a potential appearance on CBB but she decided to turn down a six-figure offer in order to focus on her family.

"She's heartbroken, but she's dealing with it in her own way, away from the cameras and headlines," a source told the newspaper. "She's never been interested in the spotlight when it comes to personal matters. Georgia believes some things should be handled behind closed doors, especially for Copper's sake.

"Right now, she's just trying to process everything without outside noise influencing her decisions."

The insider added: "A lot of people have approached her about speaking out or doing interviews, but that's just not who she is. Georgia doesn't want to turn this into a public spectacle. She's focused on figuring out if there's anything left to save in her relationship, but she'll do that privately, on her own terms."

Celebrity Big Brother is expected to air on ITV from April 7.
