Sir Michael Fabricant hits out at Trisha Goddard following his eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Sir Michael Fabricant took aim at Trisha Goddard following his eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house last night.

The former Conservative MP became the first celeb of the series to get the boot after going up against Hollywood star Mickey Rourke and Coronation Street icon Jack P Shepherd in the public vote.

Fabricant's eviction came a day after a task in which he was required to give a political speech - one which Goddard had suggested may be veering towards Islamophobia, despite him not mentioning Islam once.

"Trisha has an agenda," Fabricant told hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best after leaving the house.

"I think Trisha understands how politics is a broad thing and you can be a left wing Conservative and a right wing Labour guy. They actually overlap. I think she was maybe was a little bit stereotyping.

"What didn't help was my friend Chesney said, 'Let's talk about immigration'. That was not my plan to do at all. I think only one person took it too seriously."

Celebrity Big Brother continues Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
