Celebrity Big Brother's face-to-face nominations take an extra twist ahead of a brutal triple eviction.

The remaining Celebrity Big Brother housemates learnt last night that they would have to undertake a brutal round of nominations face to face.

As part of 'Evil Easter', each housemate was given two eggs and had to place an egg in front of the housemate they wanted to nominate and explain the reasons for their choices.

Among Angellica Bell's nominations was Patsy Palmer, of whom she said: "You're my bed buddy. And we've grown very close, and shared stories. But I'm nominating you because sometimes I feel you snap at me. And sometimes I don't feel confident to help you in the kitchen – a space that I like as well."

Ella Rae Wise picked Chris Hughes as one of hers, explaining: "I've been told you like to play a massive game. And you come into things with a game plan. And when Daley said that to me, and told me to be careful, I can't get it out of my head."

The process resulted in one of the housemates walking out in tears, but one more twist was to come as one of the nominees found a golden egg, earning them the right to take themselves off the block and choose one of the non-nominees to replace them.

Three of the nominated housemates will be evicted from the house on Tuesday night in a shock triple eviction.

The result of the nominations process plays out in tonight's episode of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.
