Tom Daley: 'Pressure is off in tomorrow's final'

Tom Daley admits that he can "let it rip" in tomorrow's 10m platform final after securing Great Britain a spot at the Rio Olympics.

Great Britain's Tom Daley has admitted that it is a "massive relief" to qualify for the men's 10m platform final and secure his country a spot in the Rio Olympics.

The 2009 world champion came third in his semi-final with a score of 524.7, although fellow Brit Matty Lee failed to make the final 12.

Daley said that the result was a weight off his mind and he intends to have fun in tomorrow's final.

He told reporters: "I've been working towards this moment all year and to finally say I've qualified a spot for GB at the Olympic Games is a massive relief more than anything.

"Now I can go into the off season a little bit more relaxed and I can go in and have fun tomorrow and let it rip."

The semi-final was topped by defending champion Qui Bo.
