Australia seal series 3-0 with 117-win run over New Zealand

David Warner hits another century as Australia wrap up the ODI series 3-0 with a 117-run win over New Zealand in Melbourne.

Australia have wrapped up the one-day international series 3-0 by beating New Zealand by 117 runs in Melbourne.

After a torrid few months with defeat to South Africa and a Test series loss to the Black Caps, Australia have found some form in the shorter form of the game.

David Warner impressed again with the bat as he hit 156 runs off 128 deliveries before getting run out by Trent Boult.

The 30-year-old was the only one in the order to surpass 50 runs, but his knock was enough to push Australia to 264-8 after 50 overs.

In reply, New Zealand struggled to gain momentum, with opener Martin Guptill top-scoring with 34 runs, while the hosts dominated on the field as Mitchell Starc took three wickets.
