Britain's Dai Greene expresses his confidence that he will win a gold medal at the London Olympics.

Dai Greene has admitted that he is confident of winning gold at the Olympic Games in London this summer.

The British 400m hurdler is among the favourites to win the top prize in the English capital having already been crowned the world champion, European champion and Commonwealth Games champion.

Despite acknowledging the pressure that performing in front of an expectant home crowd will bring, the 26-year-old believes that he has the ability to deal with the nerves and come out on top.

"There's certainly a big element of expectation from the nation. they've seen me winning the last few years and they expect me to do it again," Greene told Sky Sports News.

"But I expect to win, I don't run up the hills in the winter thinking it'd be great to win a silver or bronze, but as long as I do my best on the day I can leave the track happy I suppose."

Greene has never previously competed at an Olympics.
